Jack "Randy" R. Smith

Jack Randolph “Randy” Smith was born August 27, 1952 in Marianna, Florida. He passed away on September 23, 2020 at Riverview Health and Rehab Center in Savannah, Georgia.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather,brother and uncle. He retired in 2018 from International Paper in Port Wentworth where he worked as Control Room Operator.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Myrtice Watson Young; Father, Jack Wilhoit Smith; and grandson, Knox Winters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Wanda Smith;two sons, David (Kat) Smith and Jamie Deaton;four daughters, Jacque Griffin, Tiffany Smith, Alissa (Eric) McDaniel, and Lauren Smith; stepfather, John Young; two sisters, Brenda (Danny) Dean, Sandra (Scott) Lamberson; fourteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, singing karaoke, riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at First Baptist Church Garden City, 35 Nelson Ave. Garden City, Georgia 31408

Masks are required and it is asked that social distancing be practiced in accordance to CDC guidelines for the safety of everyone.
