Jack Hanson Everett, 88, of Savannah, died Dec 21, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Register, Ga., and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, in D Company.
He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and was retired as Purchasing Agent for the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Rives Everett, of Savannah, Ga; children, Jack Hanson Everett, Jr., (Lenora), Gary Robert Everett (Renee), William R. Hestir, Mary Kay Eastis (David), and Benjamin D. Hestir (Stacie); and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Private Graveside Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Cemetery, in Metter, Ga, with Dr. Morgan Kerr, officiating.
Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
