Jack Arden Brost, 90, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 at Effingham Extended Care .
A native of Savannah, he was the son of the late William A. Brost and Essie Barefield Brost.
Jack was a retired School Teacher having taught for over 50 years. He taught with the Chatham County Public School System, at Savannah Country Day School, Elizabeth Morrow School in New Jersey and the Lexington School in Lexington, KY.
Survivors include his nephew, Bobby Brost and other family.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 12:30 pm to 12:50 pm at Springfield United Methodist Church with a Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 pm at the Church.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Springfield United Methodist Church, 210 Cleveland Street, Springfield, GA 31329 or the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
