Irma J. Collins

Mrs. Irma J. Collins, age 87, passed away January 27, 2021, at C.M. Tucker Nursing Home in Columbia, South Carolina. She was born in Candler County on August 28, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beauford Collins; her parents, William and Eva Jane Mongin, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. She is survived by her two brothers: Don Mongin (Clarksville, Ga.) and Herman (Margie) Mongin (Columbia, S.C.). She had been a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Temple and Bible Baptist Church. She loved her church and her Lord and Savior. Family was her joy, leaving a lasting influence on each one. There will be a graveside service Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 2 PM, Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Remembrances may be made to Calvary Baptist Temple, Bible Baptist Church, or Hospice of Savannah.
