Iris Amick, 85, of Savannah passed away April 16 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born to Clinton and Frances Pugh in Saluda, South Carolina.
She moved to Savannah, GA in 1957 and enjoyed a career in bookkeeping for many businesses in the area. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. She was passionate about cooking, gardening, and was a loving adopted grandmother to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Crosson Amick Jr. and a brother, Clinton Eugene Pugh.
Surviving are her son, Brad Rollings Amick (Jennifer); a daughter, Lu Frances Perkins; three grandchildren, Amber Perkins, Austin Amick, and Casey Amick; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brady Fain all of Savannah; and two nieces and a nephew of South Carolina.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, from 4-6 PM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Memorial Service will be private.
