Ina Thompson Lamb, age 85, died, Monday, April 12, 2010 at Hospice House Savannah with her loving family members at her side.
Graveside Rites will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Bonaventure City Cemetery with the Rev. Lionel Marmolejo officiating.
Ina was born in Odom, Ga. to the late, Grover Cleveland and Iva Orr Thompson on April 10, 1925 and she along with her loving family celebrated her 85th Birthday this past Saturday. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Central Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bennett Lamb and parents.
Survivors include her son, William Bennett (Billy) Lamb, Jr. of Savannah, and sister-in-law, Doris Thompson, Louisville, KY; Nephews, Judson Allen, Montezuma; Roy Roundtree, Statesboro, Mark Mathews of Savannah. Nieces, Ann Fear & Jean McGosh both of Montezuma, Dianne Barefield & Janet Myrick both of Savannah, Susan Thompson of Louisville, KY. Many Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews along with many Great Nieces and Great Nephews survive.
The family will receive friends from 9:30am until 10:30am on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
