Peggy Imogene Wicks Daniel, 85, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Jan 24, 2018 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Home.
She was born in High Point, North Carolina, and her family moved to Rocky Mount, NC, in 1936, and had lived in Savannah since 1972.
She retired in May 1997, after 15 years of serving as a Secretary, for the Neurological Institute of Savannah, Ga., under Dr. O. Emerson Ham, Jr.
She was a member of The CrossRoad Baptist Church, formerly Burkhalter Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Believers Sunday School Class, and the Senior Citizens Group of the Church.
She is survived by a son, Donald R. Daniel, Jr., of Richmond Hill, Ga; 2 daughters, Lisa Stephens (Keith), of Thunderbolt, Ga; and Lesley Adams (Dennis), of Savannah, Ga; granddaughter, Catherine Adams of Savannah; grandson, Justin Stephens, of Thunderbolt.
Visitation: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.
Graveside Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday, in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery, with Dr. Johnny Bowen, officiating.
Remembrances: the CrossRoad Baptist Church.
