Howard Odell "Bubba" Wise, Jr. 60, of Richmond Hill, entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, June 17, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born on June 9, 1957, in Savannah, the son of the late Howard O. Wise, Sr. and Gladys Boyette Wise.
Howard "Bubba" as his many friends called him never met a stranger. He will always be remembered for his big smile and his even bigger personality. Bubba enjoyed fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities. He loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them. Bubba loved his church and his pastors and most of all his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be forever missed because when God made Bubba he broke the mold.
He is survived by his wife, Crella Sue Wise; mother, Gladys Wise; two step-children, Michael Shelton (Violet) and Jenifer Alice Williams; four grandchildren, Hayden Shelton (Jana), Colby Shelton, Daisye Williams and Shelby Williams; brother, Jon Ashley Wise; sister, Valerie Wise Pescrille and a niece, Ashley
Remembrances: Fill the Well Offering, Bible Baptist Church, 4700 Skidaway Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 23, from 5 - 7p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.
A funeral will be held, Saturday, June 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, Skidaway Road, Savannah. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
