Henry Donald "H.D." Crowe, 83, of Bloomingdale, entered eternal rest on November 20, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Johnson's Corner in Toombs County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Avis Copeland Crowe, and his first son at childbirth; Henry Alan Crowe and grandson Christopher Alan Crowe.
He was a member of tirst Baptist Church of Bloomingdale, Ga., and was retired from Union Camp Paper Co, and he was a member of the Paper Makers Union Local 407.
Survivors are his son Alex Crowe, daughter and son in law, Sandra Messex (Walter), Grandsons Adam David Barnard of Bloomingdale, Scott Alan Crowe of Washington, and Nicholas Henry Cody Messex of Guyton. 3 Sisters Louise Montgomery, Delores Anderson, and Lou Smith, 3 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Remembrances: Compassionate Care Hospice.
