Henry M Davis Jr. 81 of Faulkville passed away peacefully February 25th at home.
He was a retired truck driver with Tri Star Freight. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an American hero having received two Purple Hearts.
In his younger days he was an avid drag racer known as the Faulkville Mule at Savannah Drag strip.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry M and Thelma Davis Sr.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Davis, his children Elaina (John) Anderson, Tara (Daniel) Clemmons, Erin (Mitchell) Dukes, Brandi (Alan) Henry, and Michael (Caitlyn) Henry. His siblings Sara Hayman, Eddie Dean Davis, Vickie (Harry) Godbee, James (Dianne) Davis and Nadine Rardin. His grandchildren Jessica (Blake) Cohn, Joshua Anderson, Jacob (Bri) Anderson, Zana Kirkland, Zamir Dukes, Emma Myrick, Greyson Crockett and Kimber Henry. His great grandchildren Camden, Brantley, Kaeden, Harper, Zaxton and Zolan. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday February 29th from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm.
Graveside Service will be held Friday March 1st at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
