June 7, 1941 to November 2, 2015

After a lengthy illness, Betty passed peacefully Monday Nov. 2nd 2015 at 74 years young. Born in Savannah, Betty grew up at Tybee Island and graduated from St. Vincent's Academy. She was predeceased by her parents Dalton Richard Blackburn and Catherine Elizabeth (Sis) Cooney, her sister Sally Ann Driscoll Lebar, and two grandsons Jeremy Johnson and J. Everett Nilsson III. She is survived by her husband Reginald H. Terrell, Sr. and her children Daria D. Nilsson Acus (Steve), Jack E. Nilsson Jr (Sherry), Reginald H. Terrell II (Marcy), and Regina J. Terrell (John). Betty was blessed with 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many loved nieces and nephews. Betty worked as a worker's comp claims specialist with HRH Insurance for many years. She also worked as a transportation specialist with Bryan County serving meals to the homebound and shuttling the elderly which she loved.

The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice Advantage for the wonderful care and comfort provided to this beautiful loving woman during her illness. We would also like to acknowledge the doctors and staff of 5th floor north St Joseph's Hospital for their concern and kindness extended to our family at her passing.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her memory to Angels of Mercy through St. Joe's or Hospice Advantage.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Fairhaven Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Chaple of the Fairhaven Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel.
Burial: Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, Georgia.
