Helen Lamb Hurst, 73, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 8, 2016.
The daughter of the late R.B. and Frances Turner Lamb was born December 12, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia.
Helen was a graduate of Robert W. Groves High School attended Jasper Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed shopping, flea markets and loved Christmas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Donald Ray Hurst; grandson, Adrian Allen Hilliard and brother, Ronald Lamb.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Hurst Sparks and Lisa Hurst Piroska; sister, Carolyn Stafford (Herbert); brother, Robert B. "Bobby" Lamb (Linda); granddaughter, Tiffany Leigh Fortier; 3 great grandchildren, Jaccari Lee David, Elijah Jaidon David, Adreanna Jewel Warren; nieces, nephews and other family.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Monday, December 12, 2016 in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with Rev. Johnny Bowen officiating.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
