Hazel Marie Walton

Hazel Jeffries Walton, age 82, passed away peacefully at home Friday, February 25, 2022.

Hazel was born in West Virginia and was a true Christian who loved her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted mother who loved her children very much. She loved to build and remodel houses, you never knew when you would come home if the house would look the same or not. Hazel also loved her different jobs such as a medical secretary, and working in the tax Assessors office. She love to hold babies and said when she gets to heaven she is going to hold all of the babies there.

Hazel is survived by her husband, Tom Anchors; her three sons, Rickie Davis (Marg), Jim Walton (Janet), and Mark Walton; 10 grandchildren, Scott Davis (Cassandra), Tara Davis (Ryan), Timothy Walton (Krystle), Christopher Walton(Amy), Shawn Walton (Hope), Tabatha, Chance, Dillion, Patrica, Marc (Alex), and Andrew, and 19 great grandchildren.

Hazel is preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter Tracy Davis.

A visitation will be held at the Sanctuary of Calvary Baptist Temple Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A burial will take place at Aiken-Jessamine Memorial Gardens of SC, 1523 Edgefield Highway, Aiken, SC 29801 at 3:00 p.m later that day.
