Harriett Ray Connelly

Harriett Ray Connelly, 85, of Savannah, Georgia until 2012, when she moved to Fletcher, N.C. to be near her family. She went to be with Jesus on Monday September 11, 2017. She graduated from Savannah High School. She enjoyed being a wife and a "stay-at-home" mom, Granny and "GG." She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Temple in Savannah. Preceded in death by Joseph Gordon Ray, her first husband; Edward Connelly, her second husband; and Joseph Randall (Randy) Ray, her son .She is survived by Debbie DeLettre Ray, her daughter-in-law, of Fletcher, N.C.; grandchildren, Joey Ray (wife Kyndra) of Mills River, N.C.; and Cindy Cope (her husband Stephen) of Travelers Rest, S.C. Harriett adored her 3 great-grandchildren, Natalie Cope, Layni Ray and Norah Cope. Private Services will be held in Savannah, GA.
