Harmon Jerrell Williams
“Jerry” Williams
October 14, 1937 - February 22, 2024
Our loving father, Jerry Williams started walking the streets of gold today with family who preceded him in death: his father, Henry Harmon Williams; his mother, Cleta Mae Wise WIlliams; two brothers, Dewayne and Ricky Williams; and two sisters, Linda Rivers and Sonya Dozier.
Our father, Jerry, was an avid Nascar and fishing fan who was born in Clyde, Georgia and was a mechanic for years. However, he transferred into a salesman’s position later on and retained that position at Karp Motors of Savannah until his retirement.
The surviving members of his family who consider themselves blessed for being part of his family include: his children - Wendy (Rodney) Zeigler of Collins, GA, Tony (Michelle) Williams of Brooklet, and Patty Jean (Scott) Baker of Pooler; his six grandchildren - David (Kelly) Zeigler of Pembroke, Angela (Michael) Smith of Statesboro, Kristy (Dale) Lepisto of Pooler, Brian (April) Williams of Guyton, Bradley (Morgan) Baker of Pooler, and Cody Baker of Pooler; and his 10 great grandchildren - Dawson, Austin, Justin, Josh, Tyler, Madison, Harper, Baron, Iris, and Azalea.
His sisters include: Sherry Harrison of Macon, GA, Hilda Haggard of Dublin, and Tammy Whalley of Savannah.
His brother is Henry Williams of Savannah, GA.
We will truly miss our Earthly rock, our father, Jerry Williams, but know he’s in a better place.
We would like to thank Jan Johnson at Regency Hospice of Statesboro and the staff there, as well as Ralph Cowart at Southern Manor and his staff for assisting with our father’s transition. Additionally, we would like to thank Jason and the staff at Baker McCullough Funeral Home and Cremation for their assistance.
