Gloria Jacqueline Johnson Lane, 69, of Savannah, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Sumter, S.C., and was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Lane, Sr., and step daughter in law, Elizabeth Best Lane.
She was a member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church, and was a graduate of Armstrong State College. She had formerly worked in Human Resources for Moss Brothers, and Shoney's Restaurants. She also served as a District Manager for Avon Cosmetics.
She is survived by two stepsons, James C. Lane, Jr., and Michael Lane (Ronda); brother in law, Robert Lane(Kay), sister, Faye J. Cheek; nephews and nieces, Larry Cheek(Donnell); Carl B. Cheek, Jr., (Maggie) , 3 great nieces, Lindsey Giddens (Sheftall), Kacie Grainger (Samuel), and Chelsea Parker (Adam); step grandson Brody Lane, great grand nephew, Ford Giddens & step granddaughter, Allison Taylor Lane.
Visitation: 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Robert Lane, officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
