Glenda Marie McDaniel Haupt, 79, of Springfield, GA passed away April 12, 2023 at Candler Hospital.
She was born January 25, 1944 in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Durwood Clayton McDaniel and Clarice Harrison McDaniel, one of four children.
After marrying Joseph Kenneth Haupt, Jr., the two moved to Effingham County, Georgia and have remained there since. She was a member of Pineora Baptist Church and retired from the retail industry.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Clayton McDaniel; brothers in law; Larry Haupt, and Harold Arrington; and sister in law, Vanessa Haupt.
Surviving are husband, Joseph Kenneth Haupt, Jr.; son, Russ Bartlett (Michelle); daughter, Terri Bartlett-Decant; grandchildren, Chelsey, Ronan, Sophie, Lily and Max; great grandchildren, Alice, Jack and Tristan; sisters, Faye Edenfield (J.C.) and Sue Glidewell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Noon at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.
