GERALD D. MOCK, age 71, Died, Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Hospice of Savannah with his loving family at his side.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday June 15, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday June 16, 2009 from the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home followed by interment with Military Honors in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Born in Savannah on May 10, 1938 he was the son of the Late, Beaurie and Mollie Pye Mock. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Terri Lynn Mock, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
He retired from the Chatham Area Transit System after 35 years of service and for the last 10 years worked for Gray Line Tours. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Dot) Barrow Mock of Savannah. Grandchildren Tianna S. Parrish and husband Patrick of Savannah and his Great-Grandchildren, Reagan May and Cameron Dean Parrish of Savannah. Brothers, B.C. Mock of Uvalda, Ga., Hudman Mock, Mount Vernon, GA, Sisters, Jeanette Usher of Savannah, Shirley Brown of Leesburg, GA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bonaventure Funeral Home is in charge with arrangements.
