George C. Jones, Jr, "Mr. Magic", of Garden City, GA passed away Saturday February 16, 2019 at Memorial Hospital.
He was in the United States Navy with over 8 years of service, volunteered at The American Red Cross for over 9 years, and was a member for 46 years of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
He is predeceased by his father George C. Jones Sr.
George is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christine G. Jones; mother, Charlotte F. Tidings; son, Marty Jones (Cindy); daughter, Tina Gay; brother, Ty Tidings; sisters, Audrey Sheets and Amy Newquist; grandchildren, Jessica Oliff (Gordon), Amanda Terry (Lynn), and Tyler Jones; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Zachary, and Isabella.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am Friday February 22, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Service will be at 11 am Friday February 22, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Graveside service will be 3 pm Friday February 22, 2019 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
The family has entrusted Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel with arrangements.
