George (David) Edward Mills, 72, of Ellabell passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
George (David) was retired after 25 years from Daniel Construction in St. Mary's, GA where he was a Pipefitter following his retirement he became a Truck Driver and went to work for Eagle Transport where he worked for 12 years and the US Services were he again retired.
He was preceded in by his mother and step father, Dorothy Mae Williams Padgett and Frank Padgett; his father, Crawford Mills; brothers, James Steve Mills, Jesse David Mills and his brother-in-law, James Gartman.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Linda Hernanders; grandchildren, Nicolett Brown, Leann Brown (Sailer Hill); Amanda Gowen (Tryster Dennis); sisters, Margaret Gratman, Anglia Faye Newman; brother-in-law (Brother) Hank Newman; 4 nieces, Sharon, Terry, Michelle, Crystal; 5 nephews, Johnny, Dickie, Bobby, Randy and Jeffery.
Services will be private with burial at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery in Forest City, NC.
