Gay Nell Eichelberger Horne, 80, of Savannah passed away, Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest Eichelberger and Edna Massey Eichelberger Parker. A member of Wilder Memorial Baptist Church, she sang in the choir and also taught the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Gay Nell played the guitar, painted, volunteered at the Savannah Baptist Center, was in The Gideons Ladies Auxiliary.
She and her husband Walter were the owners of Kirby Sales of Savannah for over 30 years.
She is survived by her sweetheart of 61 years, Walter Horne; daughter, Sandra and Dennis Dick; grandchildren, Amanda and Justin Dick; great granddaughter, Ella Craven; sister, Janice Sandra Sullivan; brother, Dennis Larry Eichelberger; several nieces, nephews and other family.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Graveside Services beginning at 2:00 pm at Midway Cemetery behind Midway United Methodist Church. 215 Martin Road, Midway Ga 31320.
