Gary A. McCranie, 62, of Pooler passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center .
A native of Savannah , he was employed with Union Camp as a Paper Mill Dry-end Operator where he retired after 26 years of service.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence "Hamp" McCranie and his brother, James "Jimmy" McCranie.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Phillips (Josh); mother, Betty Efler Lindsey; sister, Sherry Murat; brother, Larry Dean McCranie; grandchildren, Jayden, Ava, Austen; loving dog, Mack; other family and many friends.
On Saturday, December 5, 2015 there will be a celebration of life service at the Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a gathering until 3:00 p.m.
