Gail Jackson Huggins "GayGay", age 80, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Grace and Carl "Shine" Jackson on March 6, 1937. She was a graduate of Commerical High School in 1954 and attended Armstrong State College. She met and married the man of her dreams, William Huggins "Kenny", of Oliver, GA. March 22, 1958. After having their 4 sons, she started a home daycare, which began a 37 year career of Huggy Bear Daycare. She later went into business with 2 of her close friends opening Petals & Posies Flower Shoppe. She enjoyed watching her boys play ball and was able to relive the tale with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her best friend of over 40 years Betty Logue and their love of bingo and many a game of Left Right Center with their friends at the Knights of Columbus. She wore many different hats from mom, grandma "GayGay", caregiver, friend to mentor. She knew no stranger and everyone was welcome at her table. She was predeceased by her parents, brother, sister, and loving husband of 45 years. She is survived by her 4 sons Mike ( Linda), Mark (Julie), Mitch and Matt (Julie) and niece Teresa Lavely-Willard (Chuck) her grandchildren, Tony (Brynn) Huggins, Steven Huggins, April Huggins, Drew Huggins, Nikki Huggins, Mike Huggins, Logan Huggins, Mitchell Huggins, Kenny Huggins and Meagan Moore, brother in law Richard Leeder, sister in law Nan Jackson and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 21, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home 7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr. Savannah, GA. 31406. Funeral service will be held Monday January 22, 2018 at 11am at Baker McCullough Chapel on Hodgson Memorial Dr.
