Freddie H. Ruth, 78, died Sunday August 6, 2017 At Candler hospital. Freddie was born October 17, 1938 in Egypt, Georgia to Lucy and Freddie H. Ruth Sr.
The Effingham county native worked as a plumber for Hudson plumbing Company in Chatham county until his retirement, Freddie also helped his community out by working on tractors and vehicles, he loved fishing, gardening and cooking almost as much as he loved seeing his family gather around his table.
Freddie is survived by his son Hank (Lisa) Ruth by his children, Marianne Ruth, Heather (Richard) Gerbasi, Hanna (Herschel) Hodges and Harley Ruth, 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Ruth and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Archie Ruth, Woodrow Ruth and sister Mary Oliff.
Services will be Saturday August 12, 2017 at 12 pm at Northside Baptist church in Rincon Ga.
