Fred Lester Waters, 64, of Savannah, GA passed away June 15, 2020.
He was born in Baxley, GA to Sara R. (Morrison) and Fred B. Waters, May 12, 1956.
He worked for many years in the construction industry. When he wasn’t working, you could find him doing any number of outdoor activities including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed playing guitar. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sara R. Markham; his father, Fred B. Waters; two sisters, Juanita (Nita) Waters and Lana Brown; and a brother, Johnny Waters.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather Carson (Clifton) of Clyo, GA; a son, Fred L. Waters of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Marie Woodard of Martin, GA, and Sarah Crawford (Roy) of Andalusia, AL; three brothers, Joe Whalen (Wendy) of Port Royal, SC, Johnny Black of GA, and Bucky Waters (Brenda) of Ft. White, FL; and several step-children, grandchildren, nieces,nephews and cousins.
There will be a private memorial service.
