Fred U. Royal, 68, of Savannah and widower of Lois Fort Royal, died Monday, November 14th in Savannah at his home.
He was born on April 24, 1948 in Savannah, the son of the late William and Emma Hood Royal.
Fred served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a long time employee of Lowes and The Contractor Yard as a commercial delivery driver.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
He is survived by his sisters, Mandy Talley of Montgomery, AL and Ellen Osborne of Meldrim; Step-Daughter, Bonnie Warren of Beaufort, SC; Step-Son Wade Warren of Savannah GA; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, Monday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Beaufort National Cemeter, Beaufort, SC.
