Francies Cowart Bennett

Francies Cowart Bennett, age 93, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Mrs. Bennett was born November 20, 1929 in Great Falls, South Carolina to the late Lewis Cowart and the late Susie Waters Cowart. She was a hairdresser for 47 years in Savannah and a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Bennett; sisters, Catherine Cowart Miltiades, Marcille Cowart Ingram, Myra Cowart Smith, and Bennie Cowart Smith. Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Bonaventure Rd. Savannah, GA 31404) with Rev. Lane Sanders officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
