J. Evon Mallard, 48, of Savannah passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Millen, GA Evon was the daughter of Freddie Lovett and the late Patricia Sasser Lovett. Evon had worked for Southside Fire Department and EMS for many years before going to work with the Effingham County Sheriff's Department. She attended the First Baptist Church of Blitchton and enjoyed couponing , Facebook and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and 2 sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas "Tommy" Mallard, Jr.; children, Brent Lovett, Doug Mallard, Justin Mallard (Kaleen), Nicky Vaughn (John), Chelsea Moore (Josh); father, Freddie Lovett; 11 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Funeral Home with a gathering following the service.
