Evelyn Josephine "Josie" Driggers Cribbs, 80, of Savannah, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, under Pruitt Health Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Savannah, and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Eugene Cribbs, Sr.
She was a member of Burkhalter Baptist Church, and was a PCT Nurse at Candler Hospital for 18 years, before retiring.
She is survived by 3 sons, Richard Cribbs, Wilbur E. Cribbs, Jr., and John "Tony" Cribbs; a daughter, Deborah C. Jones, a sister, Ann "Roseanne" Cook, a daughter in law, Karen Cribbs, a son in law, David F. Jones and 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home, with Rev. David F. Jones, and Dr. Charles G. Cooper, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbeares will be: Jason Jones, Jason Wilkerson, Austin Jones, Wilbur Cribbs, III, Christopher Cribbs, Michael Aeger, Joe Heitman and Eddie Cook.
Remembrances: Pruitt Health Hospice Savannah.
