Evelyn Gail Jenkins

November 16, 1944 — January 13, 2022

Evelyn Gail Bashlor Jenkins, 77, of Savannah passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father while surrounded by family on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Candler Hospital.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Henry Bashlor and Loraine Fisher Bashlor.

Gail worked for Wilson Machinery for many years and was an owner of Three Sisters Catering along side her sisters. She loved cooking from scratch (the Old Fashioned Way) and was known for her famous Mandarin Orange Cake, macaroni and cheese and corn bread. She enjoyed crafting, making blankets and fancy gift baskets for nursing home residents in her spare time.

Gail is survived by her husband and best friend of 40 years, Willard Gene Jenkins, children, Jeff Owens (Jackie) of Bulloch County, Catrina Webb of Guyton, Will Jenkins, Jr, of Savannah, Tracy Padgett of Vidalia, sisters, Helen VonWaldner, Patricia "Trisha" Smith (Dickie), Mary Maglio (Bill), brother, Billy Bashlor (Paula), grandchildren, Victoria Sauls (Jon Marshall), Brantley Webb (Harley), Courtney Padgett, Ashley Padgett, great grandson, Walker Brantley Webb, nieces and nephews.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
