Evelyn Elizabeth Weight, age 91, of The Landing's, died peacefully at Savannah Square Wednesday morning, February 16, 2011.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, February 19, 2011, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 3 West Ridge Road, Skidaway Island, with Father Sam Buice officiating. Interment will be private.
Evelyn was born on May 27, 1919, in Oakland, CA to the late Ellen Peterson and Carl Oscar Ferdinand Nelson. She was a loving mother and a homemaker and also a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church at the Landing's.
Survivors include her loving husband, Llewellyn B. Weight, of The Landing's, a daughter and son-in-law; Deborah W. Rudolph and husband Ron of Savannah, a son and daughter-in-law; Lance E. Weight and wife Linda of Mt. Laurel, NJ, and her grandchildren, Ryan Rudolph of Savannah, Ashley R. Diamond of New York City, Meredith Orlow of Bordentown, NJ and Eric Weight of Ewing, NJ.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday evening, February 18, 2011 at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
