Evelyn Marcia Awdy

E. Marcia Drawdy, 72, of Cumming passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center.

Marcia was born on July 26, 1951, and was preceded in death by her parents Amos Frank Drawdy and Sadie Lois McCullough and a great niece, Taylor Jeaux Kinchen.

Marcia was a native of Savannah Georgia and graduated from Savannah High School and Georgia Southern University. After college, Marcia moved to Atlanta and worked as a Senior Auditor for the Office of Veterans Affairs and retired after 34 years of service.

She is survived by her brother Larry F. Drawdy (Paula); nephew, Larry F. Drawdy Jr. (Leslie); nieces, Angela Loper (Gene) and Paula Kinchen (Pheral); an aunt, Betty Kelly McCullough; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial
Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Baker McCullough Funeral Home to cover funeral costs.

Arrangements are under the direction of Baker Mccullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
