Eva Roberson, 87, passed away Wednesday, Feb 1, 2017.
She was a native of Savannah, and the daughter of the late Peter and Stamatia Nichols, she was preceeded in death by her husband, J. M. "Robbie" Roberson, and a daughter, Brenda Roberson., a brother Stellgis "Mark" Nichols, and a sister, Helen Nichols.
She was a member of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church,
She was a retired employee of Stevens Shipping Company.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Laura Whitten (David, Jr.), of Rincon, Ga; a grandson, Peter Brinson (Robin), of Springfield, Ga; 4 great grandchildren, David Whitten, III and Matthew Whitten, Kara Brinson and Michael Brinson, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church.
Trisagion Service: 7 p.m. Friday, at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, with Father Vasile Mihai, and Father John Caparisos, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances: Arcadia Hospice, 33 Park of Commerce Way, Suite 300, Savannah, Ga 31405, or St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church.
