Eunice Estille Smith, 92, of Savannah, Georgia passed away February 24, 2021 at Pruitt Health of Savannah.
She was born January 27, 1929 in Springfield, Georgia to the late Annie Estille English and Birdie E. Tyson and was raised in the Guyton area of Effingham County. She married Carol Lamon Smith and enjoyed the blessing of two daughters. She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress and wonderful mother. She was a fanatic about keeping her yard presentable and liked it just so. She could often be found raking her yard.
She was a member of Radiant Life Christian Fellowship. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Carol Lamon Smith; a grandson, Brent Wallace; and brothers, Birdette, Oscar, Hugo, Ernest and Marvin Tyson.
Surviving are her daughters; Joann Wallace and Carol Roberts (Bill); grandchildren, Leah Burnsed, Cathy Driggers, Bryan Roberts and Jason Roberts; great grandchildren, Megan Driggers, Makenzie Driggers, Fox Burnsed, Will Wallace, Bryson Roberts, Brody Roberts, Isabel Roberts and Forrest Roberts; sister, Nita Sparks; and brother, Donnie Tyson (Betty).
The family will receive friends from 1230-130pm Monday, March 1, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with a funeral service to begin at 130pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. David Stanton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
