Ernest Kawohionalani, age 94, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Hospice Savannah.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from Bonaventure Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ben Dallas, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery with Christopher Cesaroni, Brandon Akiona, Tony Varney, Malia Akiona, Robert Peterson and Richard Williams serving as pallbearers.
Ernest was born November 5, 1915 in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late William and Virginia Holomalia Kawohionalani. He was a retired, self-employed musician and Actor. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Judith Peterson Kawohionalani, his mother-in-law, Annie Peterson and two sisters-in-law, Jane Pagel, Kathie Morris, and nieces and nephews Megan Mullins, Robert Peterson all of Savannah, Melissa Smith of Homosassa, Florida and Doug, Malia, Brandon, Kealii Akiona all of Honolulu, Hawaii.
