Ernest B. Colson Jr. age 93 passed away April 10th, 2017. Ernest was born in Charleston, South Carolina and lived most of his life in Garden City, GA. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of 45th Chatham Artillery Division. He retired from American Oil Company and is survived by his wife, Kristina Schirrmann Colson of Richmond Hill, GA, children Cheryl (Eric) Hull, Nancy Colson Jobe, Danny (Cindy) Colson; step chiidren Trisha (Richard) Schulze, Linda (Bill) Fonferek, Teresa (Bobbie)Lancon, Cheryl (John) Bennett, Richard (Elisabeth) McGuire II, Cornelia Schultz; and grandchildren Alycia (Dale) Scull, Selena (Boyd) Carroll, Jessica Thomas, Josh (Tonya) Thomas, Jaime (Buffy) Jobe, Ashleigh Lambros, Thomas Lambros, Danny (Rock) M. Colson, Jr. and many great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday April 14, 2017. Send flowers Friday to Bonaventure Cemetery or donations to Hospice Savannah.
