Ernalee Waldhour Shipes, 90, of Rincon went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Sister Shipes was a native of Effingham County and a devoted member of the Savannah Holy Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gerald "Steve" Shipes; son, Lewis Gerald "Jerry" Shipes, Jr.; daughter, Linda Faye Droste.
Survivors are her grandchildren, Shannon and Petey Moreland; Chad and Lori Droste; great grandchildren, Courtney Beasley and Clay Droste; other family and friends.
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Savannah Holy Church of God at 707 Little Neck Road.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Church with Rev. Ryan Ralston officiating.
Burial: Hill Crest Abbey West Cemetery.
