Elsie Joyce Williams

On February 8, 2018 we lost a beautiful woman, the backbone of our family, our rock. Everyone she met, she welcomed with open arms and an open heart. She was always there to offer advice, a home cooked meal, to talk gossip, to answer all of our questions about recipes, and sometimes a hard lesson or a spanking-especially when we were younger, because you know we probably needed it!!
We will continue to live our lives with her spirit within us. Not a day will go by that we won't be reminded of how she shaped her kid's lives, her grand kid's lives, and her great grand kid's lives. It's going to be hard not to dial her number when we need her, but we know she's resting easy now. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Monday February 12, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. Funeral Service will be1 pm Tuesday at South Newington Baptist Church with Rev. Steve McCoy Officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West.
