Eloise Baggott Rioux, age 85, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 16, 2010, with Rev. Jonathan Brown and Pastor David Stanton officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey -East. Pallbearers will be Michael Mitchell, Lance Hale, Tim Kimbrell, Julio Gaytan, Frank Biezenbo and Cary Gaffney.
Eloise was born in Savannah to the late Homer Bennett and Clifford Lee Bennett on January 27, 1925. She was a member of Radiant Life Church and a retired secretary for Hodge Optical in Savannah. A Past President and Treasury of the American Legion post #135. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for 47 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Baggott and Wilfred Rioux.
She is survived by her son, Tim Kimbrell and Finance' Karen Duck, one brother; Homer Ray Bennett and one grandson; Steven Lee Kimbrell all of Savannah.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, July 16, 2010 at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
