Elmer Allen Tribbett, 87, of Savannah, and formerly of Charleston, S.C., died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at Manor House, in Savannah, Ga.
He was born in Logansport, Indiana, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Robinson Tribbett, a daughter Sharon Tribbett, and his parents, William and Mary Tribbett.
He was retired after 30 years of service, in the U.S. Navy, having served as a Gunners Mate.
He was a Baptist, and loved to work on vehicles, and go to Flea Markets.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra J. Tribbett, and 2 sons, James William Tribbett and Allen Keith Tribbett.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers and food, please send remembrances to the Lions Club of Savannah, 2141 Rowland Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
