Efrain Arocho Sr., age 63, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 in Savannah.
Mr. Arocho was born on October 22, 1959 in Miami, FL, the son of the late Eusebio and Maria Esther Garcia Arocho. He was a graduate of South Dade High School and continued his formal education at the University of Miami. He was a veteran of the United States Army, being honorably discharged in 1984. He had a lifelong career as a truck driver, with part of his career serving with Derst Baking Company. Outside of work he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Arocho is survived by his wife, Magdalena Valentin Arocho; children, Angelique Arocho, Alicia Arocho, Efrain Arocho Jr., Christopher Arocho, Isabella Arocho, and Savannah Arocho; siblings, Victor Arocho, Crimilda Arocho, Judy Arocho, Pedro Arocho, Armando Arocho, Claudio Arocho, Luz Arocho, Belen Arocho, Julio Arocho, Alberto Arocho, Eusebio Arocho, and Jose Luis Arocho; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
