Edyth Gaillard Mckissick

Edyth Gaillard McKissick, 86, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was born in Florence, SC, but had lived in Savannah for the past 56 years. She attended Columbia College where she studied English. She was retired from Mercy Federal Credit Union and enjoyed working at Special Delivery for many years making gourmet gift baskets. She was a longtime member of St. George’s Episcopal Church and was Past President of the Windsor Forest Country Club. Her spunk, sass, smile and sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Don; her parents and an older brother.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan and Todd; daughter, Donna; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 15 Willow Road, Savannah, GA 31419.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. George’s Episcopal Church.
