Edward Schnell, Jr, 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Savannah, Ga. He was born July 31, 1957 in Avon Park, Fla to Edward Schnell Sr., and his wife Angelia.
He was a graduate of Osceola High School in Florida. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Savannah, Ga. He enjoyed playing the guitar, H.A.M. radio, fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
He married Erma Schnell on May 23, 1999 and together they had 9 children and 14 grandchildren.
Edward was a truck driver for Epes Transport in Greensboro, NC.
Edward is survived by his devoted wife, Erma Schnell, his mother Angelia Schnell, brother, Daniel Schnell (Lily). Daughters, Amanda Schnell of NC, Melinda Gagnon (Quinn) of WA, Rebecca Schnell (Adam Moats) of Ga; Melissa Schnell (Luis Aguilar) of VA, Heather Lewis (Wayne) of SC, Tiffany Dillion (Travis Baines) of GA; and Dawn Drake of NC; sons, Staff Sgt. Jason Schnell of TX and James Schnell of KS, Grandchildren, Kaden Schnell, Damien Schnell, Hayden Kennedy, Madison Gagnon, Jase Gagnon, MacKenzie Gagnon, Josiah Schnell, Jaylen Scott, Jayla Cook, Natalie Aguilar, Tristian Lewis, Veronica Lewis, Talynn Baines, and Travis (TJ) Baines, along with 2 nephews and 4 nieces, Special in Laws, Linda and Earmel Mullins. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Schnell, Sr. and granddaughter Angel Lewis.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Mr. Schnell will be taken to the church Tuesday at 9 a.m. to lie in state.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church, 1815 Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, Ga 31406, with Rev. Buddy McKenzie officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery, in Savannah, Ga.
