Edith Teifeld

Edith Teifeld, age 89, of Savannah passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at home.

Mrs. Teifeld was born on March 29, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Schneiderman. She was a graduate of Bayonne High School in New Jersey and continued her formal education at the University of Michigan. She completed her graduate studies at William Paterson University, earning a degree in Education. She served as a teacher for many years with the Roselle Park Board of Education. While living in Savannah she was a member of the Landings Garden Club where she served as President.

Mrs. Teifeld was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Teifeld and her sister, Marilyn Leibowitz. She is survived by her son, Stuart Klugler; daughter, Debbie Irwin and husband Steven; brother, Dr. Charles Schneiderman and wife Dr. Elyse Schneiderman; and grandchildren, Gregory and Elizabeth.
