Eddie Jefferson Davis

Eddie Jefferson "E.J." Davis,87, of Savannah died Friday, September 16th, 2016 at Abercorn Rehab.

Born in Egypt, Georgia, he was the son of Jefferson Estel Davis and Sarah Graham Davis. Mr. Davis retired from U.S. Airforce after 21 years of service as a Register. He was a member of American Legion Post #184 and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa E. Gill Davis, his sons, Ronald Edward Davis of Savannah, Eddie Davis of Jesup, Robert Davis of Savannah, Calvin Davis of Rincon, his daughter, Marie Davis of Savannah, his five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, his brother, Wilfred Davis of Guyton, his sister, Hildreth Collum of Newington and a number of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Bonaventure Chapel.
