Mr. Sellers passed away at home of natural causes on Sunday December 14th, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his Mother; Hilda Mae Lewis; Father James Bryant Sellers, and his daughter Brenda S. Wilbanks.
He is survived by one sister Hilda (Deenie) Iler of Savannah, Georgia, Son Louis M. Sellers Sr. of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Daughter Sharon E. Sellers of Pooler, Georgia, along with five grandchildren; Earl A. Sellers of Auburn, Alabama, Louis M. Sellers Jr. of Douglasville, Georgia, Laura W. Read of Orlando, Florida, Amber E. Sellers of Bloomingdale, Georgia, and Brooke H. Koneman of Garden City, Georgia. Nine Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Mr. Sellers served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the USS Enoree. After completing his Naval Service he served as a Fire Fighter for the Savannah Fire Department. After leaving the Savannah Fire Department he served as a Federal Employee Fire Fighter for Hunter Army Air Field. Mr. Sellers was an avid golfer throughout his life and especially enjoyed and took pride for his Twenty Six Holes in One. His Last days were spent peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones........
