Duane L. Schnitzler, age 89, of Savannah passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at home.
Mr. Schnitzler was born on August 17, 1933 in Arcade, NY. He was a graduate of Purdue University where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He served for many years with Union Camp, retiring as a Corporate Engineer. Duane enjoyed golf and woodworking.
Mr. Schnitzler is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; son, Michael; daughters, Pamela and Jennifer; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at a later date in New York state. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
