Dr. Robert Eugene Alderman, founder of Heavenbound Baptist Church, graduated to Glory, Thursday after a long illness.
He was pastor of Heavenbound from 1994 to 2017, where he loved his congregation greatly. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy Alderman of Savannah, his daughter, Kim Davis (Frank) of Savannah, his sons, Danny Alderman (Angie), Bryan Alderman (Tricia) both of Savannah, his sisters, Vera Daly, Bobbi Bazemore, Vivian Littlejohn, his grandchildren, Troy Davis, Rusty Davis, Amanda Drossopoulos, Joy Alderman, Hope Alderman, his great grandchildren, Brennley Drossopoulos, Lucy Drossopoulos, and Lela Davis (due in November) and several nieces and nephews (one in particular, Holly Littlejohn).

The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel. Funeral services will by Sunday, October 29th, 2017 at 2 pm at funeral home chapel with Pastor Martin Fuller, Rev. Archie Seabrooks officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
