Douglas Teddy “Ted” Stafford, 79, of Bloomingdale, GA, succumbed to a battle with Parkinson’s at home

Friday January 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother (Mary), father (Zack); and sister, Mary Ann Rodi.

He is survived by his wife, (Fiji Stafford); son, (Kevin Stafford); brother, Paul Stafford (Jeanette); and grandchildren, Drew Stafford and Harrison Stafford.

Ted was a graduate of Savannah High School (1960). He later served in the US Navy and went on to be a “salesman’s salesman” for the majority of his life. He worked with Critz Buick/GMC, for most of his 30+ years of automobile sales in Savannah, but also with many other business ventures. Ted loved sports and coached his son Kevin and many others in Little League baseball at Savannah Gardens, as well as with the Chatham Independents Organization. Ted also loved traveling, with his wife Fiji, for the majority of their 57 years of marriage.

Services are private.
