Dorothy "Faye" Campbell Kramer, 76, of Bloomingdale, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital following a stroke on September 18th.
She was born in Statesboro, Georgia and was the only daughter of the late William Beden and Rosa Leah Waters Campbell. Faye was baptized at Clito Baptist Church and was a graduate of Georgia Southern High School.
She was the owner of Faye's Kitchen for many years. Faye never met a stranger and loved cooking for family gatherings. She loved being outdoors and especially fishing and shrimping. She was the first to offer a helping hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Roy and Ronald "Ron" Roy previously of Guyton, GA; brothers, William Paul Campbell and Waldo Otis Campbell both previously of Statesboro, GA as well as her lifelong and childhood friend Jean Woods and her beloved dog "Taco".
Survivors include her husband of 52 years 8 months, Leonard F. Kramer, Sr. who were married on January 29, 1966; sons, Richard "Ricky" Terry of Pooler, Leonard "Len" F. Kramer, Jr. (Melanie) of Richmond Hill, GA, Kenneth "Ken" Kramer, Sr. (Kerry) of Bloomingdale, GA; To her grandchildren and great grands she was affectionately known as "Nana". Grandchildren include: Kenneth "Randy" Kramer, Jr. (Megan), Will Roy (Heather), Kristin Kramer (Chris Carter), Ronny Roy, Ryan Kramer, Trey Kramer, Brett Kramer; 8 great grandchildren, Jacen Jackson, Dylan Roy, Alyssa Roy,Trace Kramer, Kenzie Kramer, Christopher Carter, Ivey Roy, Kamden Kramer; brother, Lynward Campbell (Arlene) of Virginia and Statesboro; sister-in-law, Karen Kramer of Ellabell; brother-in-law, Joe Kramer (Diane) Mt Carroll, Illinois; She was an amazing "Aunt Faye" to many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial: Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale, GA.
